Ad Operations Manager, Direct & Content
What we’re looking for
Join an amazing urban mobility company that operates in the US and UK as their Ad Operations Manager, Direct & Content, thriving at the crossroads of execution and innovation. You’ll be leading the execution, structure, and optimization of direct-sold advertising campaigns across an in-ride media network. You’ll be responsible for trafficking ads and flights, managing content schedules, and building repeatable workflows that drive efficient and error-free delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creating order from complexity, has a strong attention to detail, and enjoys working cross-functionally with sales, account management, and internal systems to ensure campaigns are accurately set up, launched, and monitored. You’ll also play a key role in shaping operational best practices as the ad platform continues to scale.
Responsibilities
- Traffic and schedule direct-sold campaigns in the proprietary in-house ad server.
- Pull data queries to provide sales and planning teams with availability and inventory information.
- Manage video asset intake, including file naming, format checks, sizing, and basic QA testing.
- Build and maintain content rotations, flights, and fallback rules for live campaigns.
- Monitor campaign pacing, delivery accuracy, and creative transitions to ensure smooth execution.
- Provide inventory availability checks and capacity recommendations to support the sales team during pre-sale planning.
- Capture and organize proof-of-play images and generate final campaign delivery reports.
- Collaborate with account managers to ensure accurate launch timing, targeting, and post-campaign documentation.
- Maintain clean, structured trafficking systems and continuously refine ad ops processes for scalability.
- Light product work includes:
- Flagging platform issues and helping QA fixes.
- Identifying gaps or inefficiencies in scheduling tools.
- Contributing feedback for feature enhancements and product documentation.
- Assisting with internal testing for new trafficking flows or interface updates.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in ad operations, digital campaign delivery, or DOOH/media trafficking.
- Strong knowledge of ad servers, campaign scheduling, and trafficking best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage overlapping deadlines and file structures.
- Basic technical comfort with video formats, QA testing, and troubleshooting creative issues.
- Clear communication skills to support cross-team coordination with sales, account managers, and product.
- Familiarity with reporting tools (Excel, Tableau) and inventory planning

- Experience in DOOH, mobile media, or light product operations in an ad tech environment.
