Junior Data Analyst - MLS Support
What we’re looking for
At Ideaware, we’re building a cross-functional product team that will integrate quickly with our U.S.-based client — an international team operating in the Real Estate Technology space.
We’re looking for Junior Data Analysts who can contribute from day one by supporting MLS data ingestion, normalization, and ongoing data quality across the platform. You’ll join a fast-paced, product-driven environment where data accuracy, consistency, and reliability are critical to delivering high-quality experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with structured data, identifying inconsistencies, and ensuring data is clean, usable, and well-organized. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and data teams to support data pipelines and maintain high standards of data integrity.
We’re looking for detail-oriented individuals with strong foundational SQL skills and a proactive mindset when it comes to improving data quality and processes. You’re comfortable working with large datasets and are eager to learn and grow within a data-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Support MLS data ingestion processes and ensure timely, accurate data updates.
- Assist with data cleansing, mapping, and normalization across multiple data sources.
- Work with large datasets and structured data feeds to maintain consistency and usability.
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams to support ETL and data pipeline workflows.
- Perform data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify data inconsistencies and contribute to improving data processes and standards.
- Maintain documentation related to data structures, mappings, and workflows.
- Explore and adopt tools (including AI-assisted tools) that improve data workflows and productivity.
Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of experience working with SQL and data manipulation.
- Experience working with large datasets and structured data feeds.
- Ability to assist with data cleansing, mapping, and normalization.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and consistency.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher (able to communicate effectively in written and spoken form in professional settings).
Nice to Have
- Exposure to MLS data structures, RETS/RESO Web API standards, or real estate datasets.
- Experience supporting ETL processes or data import pipelines.
- Familiarity with data validation and QA workflows.
