What we’re looking for

At Ideaware, we are looking for a talented QA engineer to join a technology team and work on a real-time, 24/7, multi-vendor marketplace product with high availability and no latency. This is an opportunity to work on a full-time contract position & work on an inspiring international project and be part of an opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced team and contribute to developing a high-growth Multi-Vendor Marketplace company.

Responsibilities

- Set automation standards and best practices within the team.
- Identify opportunities and drive the implementation of automation to improve service, manageability, and reliability.
- Develop Automation Frameworks, evaluate toolsets, and suggest application-specific solutions.
- Perform Performance Testing using a variety of toolsets.
- Remain current on new technologies, methods, and procedures including, but not limited to, coding practices such as Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the area.
- Effectively collaborate with peers and influence others.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of proven experience in Quality Assurance and Automation.
- Experience developing and implementing Testing Automation Frameworks.
- Experienced with both UI and API based testing automation.
- Experienced with automation strategies for unit testing.
- Experienced with CI/CD pipeline automation.
- Software Engineering Experience.
